MEGA-BATTERY

With this gigantic battery, which would be as big as a hangar, we could have emergency power for an entire city in case of a power outage. Using electricity from all sort of thunder storm as its energy source it would provide enough energy to power an entire city for at least three entire days. This battery is equipped with a special antenna called “The MegaThunder Antenna™” which is able to “call” the lightning during a storm which not only recharge the battery but also protect the citizens of the city from the thunder. The MegaThunder Battery™ has a special circuitry named “The MegaThunder Circuit™” which amplifies the voltage of electricity that it receives by ten times the normal amount it should get, which means one thunder strike would equal ten thunder strikes making it able to completely recharge itself within one storm.

MegaThunder Battery Pocket™

This version has almost the exact circuitry of the original MegaThunder Battery™ but in an extraordinary smaller version. This battery can be used in almost every object that uses normal battery. They can last for almost a complete year before having to be recharged. You can recharge it the same way you recharge an electric battery. The secret behind the everlasting supply of electricity that this little battery can provide is “The MegaThunder Pcircuit™” which, unlike the one in the bigger version, increase how much electricity it can hold up to.

The Context

We posed the following question to francophone Canadian students in our English course: "If you could invent something that would change the world for the better, what would you invent?" Here are their answers. To see more essays in answer to this question, click on the links above.

The Idea

Engineers have been able to invent incredible gadgets that perform multiple tasks but battery power is still far from desirable. Here's a students with an idea about batteries.
