The Quality I Love Most About My Best Friend

My best friend is not only just kind, loving and loyal she is also about to

celebrate her eight first birthday in the next couple of months. This woman is someone that I have known all my life, since the day that she held me to this day that I hold her. This woman that I speak of is my grandmother my fathers mother the person that has given up so much for me since I was a baby, through my teenage years and that I am an adult she is still helping me through my bad times and sharing the good ones.

   She has been like a mother to me even though she already has five children I am considered the sixth one. This grandmother of mine has done everything for me, taught me the old and new of things, showed me the good and sheltered me from the bad. Always trying to turn me in the right direction the one that is right for me. She has passed through this life and so she knows what is the best thing for me even though she might be from a different age.

  In my home land they say that the old knows best. Even though she will be turning eighty one very soon she is still very young at heart. She tells me all the time that you are as old as you feel not as you look. Up to this day she tells me that she continues living for me. I hope that she is proud of the person that she has made me and proud of the better person that I will become.
