Asia:theNextSuperPower?  Nowadayseveryoneisinfearofwarand terrorism.Everydaywereadinthetabloidsorseeonthenews actsofterror.Peoplekillingeachotherformanydifferent reasons.Somefightforfreedom,fortheirreligiousbelieves andothersforpoweroverthepopulation.

           Theeventstakenplacesincethe attacksontheworldtradecentrehavebroughtgreatfearinthe livesofthepopulationofmanycountries.TheAmericanshave alwaysbeenakeyplayerinthefightagainstterrorandhelping peopleinneed.Becauseoftheirgreatmilitarysupportand allianceswithothercountries,theyareknowntobevery powerful.

            Manyworldleadersdisagreewith theactionstakenbythisallianceandwillsoontakeaction againstthem.China,KoreaandJapanarenottobe underestimated.TheseAsiancountriesremaindormantwhenit comestowarandterror.Theydonotgetinvolved.ThisiswhyI feelthatAsiawillbethenextsuperpower.

            Withimmensepopulationandcheap labour,thesecountriesproduceandmanufacturealmost everythinghumanshavebeenaccustomto.Fromclothingtocars, Asiaisresponsibleformosttechnologicaladvancements.The Koreanshaveadmittedtohaveweaponsofmassdestructionand willnotsurrenderthemtoanyone.Whydon’ttheAmericanshave anyinterestindisarmingthiscontinent?Becausetheyknowthat theconsequenceswouldbeastronomical,PearlHarbourfor example.

            Asuperpowerisacombinedgroup ofcountrieswithgreatmilitarypower,moneyandunderstanding ofwhattheybringtotherestoftheworld.Inthiscase,Asia providestheworldwithmanyservicesneededforonetolive. Whatwouldhappeniftheywouldcompletelystopallexportations offood,clothing,computersetc?Couldthisbethenextsuper powerthinkingahead,planningandwaitingfortheotherto destroyoneanother?
